Our Journey & Roots
Kirugu secondary school is a government, church founded school that started with 21 students In February 1985.
The school was promoted by Mr. George Kanyoma together with Late Biswahili and Rev. Butera.
The school was registered in the ministry of education and sports with EMIS no. 000907 and it was spear headed by Hon. Kamuntu Ephraim who was by then the area MP. The school has UCE and Upolet with UNEB Center No. U0568.
The school was headed by Mr. Muhangi Humphrey as the pioneer Head teacher (1985 to 1987), Bekunda Frank (1992), Muhwezi Wilson (1994-1996), Kabazeyo Nathan (1997-2004), Rushure Laban (2005-2006), Mugizi Fred (2006-2010), Biryabarema Oshea (2011-2014), Mugisha Fredrick (2014-2019), Rushengyera Abel (2019-2021), Osiime Asenath Bamureeba (2021-Date).
